DREAM DAYS

Dream Days are interactive workshops designed to introduce middle school participants to a variety of STEM careers.  At each Dream Day, up to six corporate or university groups conduct hands-on activities highlighting the principles or activities used every day in their job.

Past Dream Days have included food scientists from Pepperidge Farm describing how chemistry is used to create flavors in their cookie products; package engineers from Estee Lauder demonstrating the three functions of packaging and how it is used to design cosmetic packaging; and computer scientists from Selective Insurance conducting a sorting activity to show how vast amounts of data can be sorted quickly.
